Academic work
Research is a love-hate relationship. You love to hate it and hate to love it. Always around my mind, a love for books & reading brought me here. My research interests focus mainly on artist residencies and circus, but that involves subjects such as: the performing arts, theatre, feminist theory, political theory, art in the public sphere, the commons, cultural ecology, and others.

‘’An Uneven Playground; Artist Residencies as tools for re-imagining cultural production.’’ The Southern European case
This thesis investigates the phenomenon of Artist Residencies, in Southern Europe, and precisely Greece, Italy, and Spain, looking for the conditions in which artist residencies in that area can function as examples of alternative models of cultural production and sustainable long term relationships of care.
It was written following a 6-month traineeship at the organization of DutchCulture | TransArtists, in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Models of a National Circus Centre for Norway
Although not a straightforward academic project, this report still represents a project that required a new kind of research that I'm looking to delve deeper into, regarding the advocacy of the contemporary circus sector. It needed research, in order to formulate an understanding of the background and current state of the circus sector in Norway, as well as to identify suitable international examples. These can be looked at as forms of inspiration and persuasion to aim for the ideal scenario of the specific time and place into question. Moreover, my article contribution titled ''The perfect circus center'' touches upon real and imaginary utopias that could hide underneath the look for an ideal space. Even if brief, it forms a principal research interest of mine, in the necessary conversation around spaces, their meeting, interaction, and possibilities.
